How to track stock and sell supplements or merchandise

Add products like protein, shakers and T-shirts to Fitnexa inventory, sell them with an automatic invoice, and see which items are running low.

If you sell supplements, drinks or merchandise at the counter, keep them in Inventory. Every sale creates an invoice and takes the quantity off your stock, so you always know what's left.

Step by step

  1. Open Inventory & Assets

    Click More, then Inventory & Assets under Assets. Stay on the Inventory tab and click Add inventory.

    In the Admin menu, open More, then select Inventory & Assets.

  2. Add a product

    Enter the Product name, a SKU (leave it blank and one is made for you), the Price (₹) and your Opening stock. Click Add item.

  3. Sell it

    Click Sell on the product's row. Enter the Quantity, a Customer name (optional), and tick Mark invoice as paid now if they're paying at the counter. Click Create invoice & sell.

  4. Watch for low stock

    Items with 5 or fewer left are flagged Low stock (≤5) so you know when to reorder.

If something goes wrong

Not enough stock for Whey Protein 1kg — Chocolate (have 0).
Fitnexa won't sell more than you have. Update the item's stock after your delivery arrives, then sell again.

Common questions

Can I sell a product and a membership on one invoice?

Use Create Invoice with Inventory — sell a product and add the items with + Inventory item…. Memberships are billed on their own Plan invoice.

How do I record what I paid my supplier?

Add an expense in Expenses and link it under Stock purchase (optional).
