How to record a member's weight, body fat and measurements
Record weight, height, body fat and your center's custom metrics on a member's Member Stats tab. Fitnexa works out BMI and charts every stat over time.
Regular measurements show your members their progress in numbers. Record whatever you measured today — you don't have to fill every field — and Fitnexa builds a chart for each stat.
Step by step
Open the member's Member Stats tab
From My Members, click Body stats on the member's row, then open Member Stats. The page is headed Member stats · Rahul Sharma.
- Profile
- Membership
- Attendance
- Training
- Member Stats (select this tab)
Click Record a measurement
Set Measured on to the date you measured. Fill in only what you measured: Weight (kg), Height (cm), Body Fat (%) and any extra metrics your center has added.
BMI is worked out from weight and height, so you don't enter it.
Click Save measurement
You'll see a message such as Saved 3 measurements. Each stat's chart (for example Weight over time) updates, and the reading is added to All recordings.
Saved 3 measurements.
If something goes wrong
- Enter at least one measurement.
- All the fields are empty. Fill in at least one, such as weight.
- Weight must be a positive number.
- Enter a number above zero, without units —
78.4, not78.4 kg. The same message appears for any stat. - Measurements can't be dated in the future.
- Change Measured on to today or an earlier date.
Common questions
Can the member see these numbers?
Yes. They appear in the member's own stats and progress charts on the website and in the app.
Can I add a reading I took last week?
Yes. Set Measured on to that date. Only future dates are blocked.
Where do the extra fields like waist or chest come from?
Your center's admin adds custom metrics. They appear in the form under the standard ones.
