How to set booking rules for members at your gym

Turn member self-booking on or off, choose whether members pick their own time or your slots, and set how far ahead, notice, cancellation cutoff and limits.

Booking settings decide how members book in the Fitnexa app and website: whether they can at all, how they choose a time, and the limits that stop last-minute bookings and no-shows.

Step by step

  1. Open Settings › Booking

    Go to More › Settings and click Booking under Operations.

    In the Admin menu, open More, then select Settings.

  2. Turn self-booking on and choose how members get a time

    Switch on Member self-booking. Under How members get a time, choose Members pick their time (any time a trainer is free), Only your published slots (your classes only) or Both.

  3. Set the booking window

    Under Booking window, set Book up to (days ahead), Minimum notice (hours), Cancellation cutoff (hours before the session) and Max upcoming bookings per member. Set your Opening hours and allowed Session lengths (15–120 min).

  4. Choose who can book, then save

    Under Who can book, tick Require an active membership to stop expired members booking. Centers with several services can tick Require a service on every session. Click Save Changes.

What do members see if I turn self-booking off?

They see Booking is handled by your center and book through the front desk. Sessions you book for them still show in their app.

Where do members see these rules?

On their booking page, e.g. Book up to 7 days ahead, at least 2h in advance.
